Things to buy for 08

1. Bling up with a classic statement watch. If diamond is a girl's best friend then this is the most practical and stylish best friend a girl could have. Longine classice range is not just for looks, you can actually tell the time (yes! a fashionable watch that tells time). The bad news is it will set you back $1000 or so depending on which model - Diamond or no diamond (for me diamond all the way), but of course for the quality and luxury that comes with it, it's so worth it. It will be a great investment. Definetely lust worthy!

LONGINE ~ Le Grande Classique de Longines

Stainless steel case of Ø 24.00 mm of this ladies’ model from La Grande Classique de Longines is set with 48 Top Wesselton VVS diamonds (0.48 carat) and houses an L209 quartz movement. A cambered scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects a white dial featuring 12 black painted Roman numerals. Bracelet in stainless steel with triple safety clasp and push-piece opening mechanism. This watch is water-resistant to 30 meters (~ 100 feet).

2. The new MacBook Air just proved that you could never be too rich or too thin. This feather weight wonder comes in at just 1.36 kg and its thickness, or thinness I should say is between 0.4-1.94 cm. It might be small but it still packs a punch in its features with brilliant multi touch trackpad, built-in camera, Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 80GB 4200-rpm and all the other cool Mac stuff and all that is encased in sturdy anodised aluminium, very sleek. Okay there are few compromises Mac had to make in order to shrink it, like not having a CD rom and only having one USB port, but all that’s forgiven cos it’s so small and cute.
